Info “DL”: In Périgueux, the Le Paradis theater vandalized

The managers of the verbal gallery discovered on the morning of Monday, June 30, that the doors of the establishment had been forced and that equipment had been destroyed.
"It's a real shock," says Virginie Labrousse-Roumagne, administrator of the Le Paradis verbal gallery. On Monday, June 30, at the time of hiring, she discovered that the theater's premises had been vandalized. "The entrance door on the spectator side was completely destroyed, and all the other doors were forced open with the keys broken inside the locks," explains Virginie Labrousse-Roumagne, who is also president of the Some Produkt association.
Some of the broken equipmentThe interior, and more specifically the equipment, was also subject to the wrath of the vandals. Some of the administrative and control room equipment was broken. "Nothing was actually stolen; it was moved or broken. It was truly gratuitous vandalism," she laments.
A real "shock" for the Verbal Gallery Association. "Starting Thursday, we must accept proposals for shows for the Mimos festival. We will ensure that they can be held in the theater. Human wickedness will not stop us."
The administrator links this act of vandalism to the numerous reactions and insulting comments the association had received on social media in the previous weeks. "We had raised the alarm about our fragile situation, and following that, there was an outburst on social media with numerous filthy comments, and right after this wave of hatred, there was this act of vandalism; I find it bizarre." The association indicated that it will file a complaint by the end of the evening.
